Day 1: Yangon arrival

Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Our guide meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel. Free time leisure at Hotel.

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan by flight, Bagan sightseeing

colorful myanmar 02Take Breakfast box.In the morning catch your flight to the ancient city of Bagan where you will spend the day exploring the city. ArriveNyaung U Airport and Visit Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda (the prototype for later Myanmar Stupas), KyansitthaUmin, Wet-Kyi-Inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with its exquisite mural painting from the 13th Century, and Htilominlo Temple. After lunch, visit a fascinating lacquer-ware workshop before continuing on to Manuha Temple, built by the exiled King Manuha, before stopping at Nanphaya, said to have been the residence of King Manuha. You will also visit Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece, as well as the Oakkyaung Monastery, which is decorated with multi-colored mural paintings. End the day with some breathtaking sunset views from the terraces of an ancient temple.

Day 3: Bagan - Mt.Popa, Popa sightseeing

colorful myanmar 03Breakfast at hotel.Our driver and professional guide will pick you up from your hotel around 8am and excursion to impressive Mt Popa, 48 kilometres south east of Bagan is an extinct volcano that rises 2417 feet above the northern plains. On top of this striking tower lies the most important ‘Nat’ (Spirit) shrine in Myanmar. The mountain is the abode of the powerful ‘Nat’ known as the Popa Goddess, or Popa Mother. She is considered to be kinder than most spirits and is the protector of women. At the base of the mountain is a shrine to the Lord of the Mountain. He is the protector of the house or town. He and his sister, Lady Golden Face protect the Tharaba Gate in Bagan.The complex of shrines is accessed by a 25 minute climb and there are panoramic views from the top. Tradition says you should avoid wearing red or black on the mountain as this may offend the resident spirits. Mt Popa lies within a National Park and there are hiking and horse riding opportunities in the area. There is time to climb the 777 steps to the top of the hill .After that return back to Bagan and you can stop along the way to see the production of palm sugar balls and try some of the local ‘toddy’. Back to Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan – Mandalay by flight, Mandalay sightseeing

colorful myanmar 04Breakfast at hotel.Fly to Mandalay, the last capital of the Myanmar Kingdom. This morning you will take a sightseeing tour of Mandalay which includes Mahanumi, a life like Buddha image; visiting a gold leaf making center. to see the gold leaf still being made by hand; marble sculpture and tapestry workshops and Zaycho Market. In the afternoon visit the Old Palace grounds; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs inscribed with the Buddha’s Doctrine; Golden Palace Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Atumashi Monastery; and Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, where a huge image is carved out of a single block of marble. At sunset enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill.

Day 5: Mandalay – Inwa – Sagaing

colorful myanmar 05Breakfast at hotel . Excursion tour to Ava (Inwa) by a ferry ride from Myitnge River. Upon arrival, hop on a horse-cart offers you the opportunity to discover the picturesque ruins and surrounding countryside at a relaxed and more tranquil pace. Visit the teak monastery of BagayaKyaung(famous for its impressive ornate woodcarvings and teak posts) and the former royal monastery temple known as MahaAungmyeBonzan ( Menu Oak Kyaung ) , completely built of brick and stucco. Our final stop of the day is at Sagaing. Sagaing is considered to be the living centre of Buddhism in Myanmar and the hundreds of monasteries and temples reverberate with the echoes of cymbals, gongs and Pagoda bells. We will visit Oo Min Thone Se Pagoda and SwanOo Pone Nya Shin Pagoda. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Mandalay.

Day 6: Mandalay – Heho by flight, Pindaya Sightseeing

colorful myanmar 06Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, transfer to airport for depart to Heho by domestic flight. Arrive heho, and trip to PINDAYA (60km), a small quiet town, about an hour and a half drive. Visit Pindaya caves famous for its thousands of centuries-old Buddha images of various sizes, some carved into the face of the rock and some deposited in niches in the walls.

Next visit a home based paper andumbrella making industry where you will be able to see all of the steps in the process starting with the gathering of local plants to the finished product – beautiful, decorative paper umbrellas. After that drive to Nyaung Shwe jetty . Then transfer to hotel by boat. Hotel located in InleLake. Known as the most beautiful lake in Myanmar.

Day 7 : Inle sightseeing

colorful myanmar 07Have breakfast at the hotel and sightseeing by boat on Inle Lake , “One Leg Rower” who have developed an original, eccentric method of rowing with one leg. “Floating Cultivation” you can see “villagers cultivate the vegetables on the lake “. “Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda”are in a set of five, cherished by Bagan Emperor Alaung Sithu, one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century. These Buddha images are famous because many prayers came true, after praying at Phaung Taw Oo. Also make a stop at a family run business making cheroot by hand. We’ll visit the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. See the lake’s unique “leg rowers” – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. It is a feast for the senses and a photographer’s dream. “Silk Weaving Shop” it is also home made shop and you will see how to make Myanmar traditional clothiers. “Nga Phae Chaung Monastery” This wooden monastery was built on stilts of Inle , about 2 centuries ago.Centuries-old wooden sculptures can be seems there. After sightseeing back to hotel .

Day 8 : Heho – Yangon , Yangon sightseeing.

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to airport for departure to Yangon by morning flight. Arrive Yangon, visit to Colonial Style city center. Sule Pagoda” With unique architectural features 2000 years old, is located in the center of Yangon near City Hall and Mahabandoola Independent Monument Park, within a traffic circle. So, you can see “Window sightseeing”. Heading to “Chaukhtathgyi Pagoda” it is the fourth largest colossal reclining image in Myanmar and 67m long. “Then transfer to hotel for check in and take a short rest. Then “Shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott) Market” with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. No visit to Yangon would be complete without spending some time at the stunning Shwedagon Pagoda,one the most venerable places of worship in Myanmar. Take in the array of gold and gems which light up around the giant golden dome as the sun slowly sets around you. Watch as the locals come here to make offerings before they return to your hotel.
